Soldiers Sailors Club opened in 1919 to fulfill a mission to provide subsidized accommodations in New York City for our active and retired military . This year marks our ninety-second year of consecutive service to our Military friends. Since our founding in 1919, more than 2,700,000 members of our Military family have enjoyed our hospitality. Soldiers Sailors Club is a Not-for-Profit corporation, and we incur an annual operation deficit of over $250,000.

Soldiers Sailors Club doesn’t receive any Federal, State or Municipal financial assistance; therefore we are supported solely through the generosity of individuals, corporations and charitable organizations. Soldiers Sailors Club will always provide a “Home Away From Home” for our active and retired military as long as there are patriotic citizens to support the club's philosophy and motto: “Service To Those Who Have Served Our Country”.
